My name is Elena Bregier, and for the past 15 years, I've been dedicated to caring for children in various Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Units. Currently, I'm pursuing my Ph.D. studies at Duke University's School of Nursing. As a Ph.D. student, my research interest focuses on advocating for the consistent inclusion of palliative care in the treatment plans for patients with critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) and their families. I am driven by a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of children and their families throughout their healthcare trajectory.
