Trent Center faculty and faculty associates teach students, researchers and clinicians at Duke University. They offer courses in bioethics, the responsible conduct of research, and medical history. In addition, the Center hosts a monthly Humanities in Medicine Lecture Series, open to the wider Duke community and the general public. This series brings distinguished scholars to Duke to speak on a range of topics in clinical and research ethics, the history of medicine, and cultural and social issues in medicine.
