Trent Center faculty and associates teach students, researchers and clinicians at Duke University. They offer courses in ethics and humanities in health care, as well as in the history of medicine. In addition, the Center hosts a Humanities in Medicine Lecture Series and several endowed lectureships, open to the wider Duke community and the general public. These talks bring distinguished scholars to Duke to speak on a range of topics in clinical and research ethics, the history of medicine, and cultural and social issues in medicine.
