Trent Center faculty partner with programs across Duke to engage undergraduate and pre-health students in questions about the meaning, purpose, and practice of medicine. Through Re-Imagining Medicine (ReMed), Transformative Ideas and pre-health courses, and the Medical Ethics Summer Seminar, Trent faculty teach and mentor students as they consider not only whether to pursue medicine, but what medicine is for. These collaborations invite students early in their journey to think deeply about human flourishing, ethical responsibility, and the kind of clinicians they hope to become.
