My name is Caroline Kee, and I am a PhD student at Duke University School of Nursing. Broadly, my research interests center on adolescent health, specifically eating disorders and substance use disorders. I am particularly focused on understanding the internalization of weight bias and its impact on health outcomes. I am excited to use clinical ethics to further explore my research and advocate for essential changes in the healthcare system, particularly in mental health treatment for adolescents. I am passionate about integrating ethical frameworks into my research on adolescent health, eating disorders, and substance use disorders, with a focus on promoting equity and improving healthcare delivery.
