Felix De Bie
Felix De Bie, MD, PhD, is a General Surgery Resident at Duke University. He earned his PhD from KU Leuven, Belgium, where he studied prenatal therapies for congenital diaphragmatic hernia. His clinical interests include pediatric surgery, congenital anomalies, and fetal interventions. He also cultivates an active interest in the ethics of emerging surgical and perinatal technologies. His life-long goal is to integrate surgical innovation, ethical reflection, and compassionate care in the management of children with complex surgical conditions, an ambition he hopes to advance through the Clinical Ethics Fellowship.
