My name is Joyce Liu, and I am a third-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. My research focuses on women’s health, particularly gynecologic cancers, gynecologic surgery, and oncofertility. I plan to pursue residency training in OB/GYN and am especially interested in how clinical ethics can inform complex decision-making in cancer care and reproductive health. I am also committed to integrating an interdisciplinary perspective on health justice and advocacy, with a broader interest in the role of physicians in addressing health disparities and socioeconomic barriers to care.
