Margot Kelly-Hedrick is a fourth year medical student at Duke School of Medicine pursuing a career in neurosurgery. She is interested in neuroethics and the role of neurosurgeons in emerging neurotechology, as well as ethical issues that arise in neurotrauma settings surrounding prognostication, uncertainty, and hope. Margot is also interested in the philosophy of medical education—specifically around the concepts of flourishing, virtue ethics, and measurement in medical education research. Prior to medical school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from McGill University, and a Master of Bioethics from Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics.
